AFFI Elects New Board Leadership, Celebrates 75 Years

AFFI announced the election of three officers and its 2017 board of directors.  The elections took place at the AFFI Annual Meeting and Keynote Breakfast held in conjunction with AFFI-CON 2017, the largest convention on record with 1,500 attendees, in San Diego.

The newly-elected AFFI officers are: Stan Firestone of Firestone Pacific Foods, Inc. as chair; Bob Ashmun of National Frozen Foods Corporation as vice chair and Larry Cope of Clear Springs Foods as immediate past chair.

AFFI’s Executive Board is: Jeff Varcoe of the Schwan Food Company; Dave Yanda of Lakeside Foods, Inc.; Ed Flanagan of Jasper Wyman & Son Inc.; and Meghan Swan of Simplot Co.

AFFI’s Board of Directors are:  Bob Ashmun of National Frozen Foods Corp; Mike Barkley of Pinnacle Foods; Paul DiGenova of Bonduelle Americas; Stan Firestone of Firestone Pacific Foods, Inc.; Thomas Madden of Rite Stuff Foods, Inc.; David Moore of Superior Foods; Joseph Pacinelli of Better Baked Foods; Shawn Campbell of NORPAC Foods, Inc.; Julia Sabin of JM Smucker Company; Gary Crowder of Smith Frozen Foods; Bernard Kreilmann of Ajinomoto Windsor Foods; Bill Smittcamp of Wawona Frozen Foods; and Bob Barnhouse of Dole Packaged Foods, LLC.
