The FROZEN FOODPAC is the frozen food industry’s political action committee (PAC).

Managed by the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and funded by voluntary contributions from stakeholders, the FROZEN FOODPAC provides funds to support the campaigns of carefully-selected Congressional candidates. The FROZEN FOODPAC is a crucial tool to advance the policies that are important to American frozen food makers and to create an effective voice for the frozen food industry on Capitol Hill. This resource helps the frozen food industry advocate for sound policies and support candidates for Congress who understand the issues most important to the industry. This can meaningfully impact the frozen food industry and help frozen food and beverage processors succeed by developing a commonsense regulatory and policy environment.
Why does AFFI have a PAC?

The FROZEN FOODPAC is an essential vehicle to advocate for legislation, regulations and policies that are ultimately beneficial to America’s frozen food businesses. A strong FROZEN FOODPAC empowers the frozen food industry to be an effective voice that resonates with lawmakers and helps broaden the base of elected officials who will champion priority issues that impact your organization. In addition, the FROZEN FOODPAC helps AFFI be a more effective resource for members by adding another advocacy tool to its toolkit.

Who does the FROZEN FOODPAC support?

The FROZEN FOODPAC is a bipartisan organization. Contribution recipients are carefully considered and selected by a committee of experienced individuals from the frozen food industry who volunteer with the PAC. This committee reviews potential contribution recipients based on certain criteria, including the candidate’s previous record on issues relevant to the frozen food industry and their committee assignments.

Is contribution information made public?

The FROZEN FOOD PAC must share a report with the Federal Election Commission which includes the name, address, occupation, employer and contribution amount of individuals who give more than $200 a year. This report will be published and available publicly on the FEC website.
