The FROZEN FOODPAC is the frozen food industry’s political action committee (PAC).
Why does AFFI have a PAC?
The FROZEN FOODPAC is an essential vehicle to advocate for legislation, regulations and policies that are ultimately beneficial to America’s frozen food businesses. A strong FROZEN FOODPAC empowers the frozen food industry to be an effective voice that resonates with lawmakers and helps broaden the base of elected officials who will champion priority issues that impact your organization. In addition, the FROZEN FOODPAC helps AFFI be a more effective resource for members by adding another advocacy tool to its toolkit.
Who does the FROZEN FOODPAC support?
The FROZEN FOODPAC is a bipartisan organization. Contribution recipients are carefully considered and selected by a committee of experienced individuals from the frozen food industry who volunteer with the PAC. This committee reviews potential contribution recipients based on certain criteria, including the candidate’s previous record on issues relevant to the frozen food industry and their committee assignments.
Is contribution information made public?
The FROZEN FOOD PAC must share a report with the Federal Election Commission which includes the name, address, occupation, employer and contribution amount of individuals who give more than $200 a year. This report will be published and available publicly on the FEC website.
