Food Safety Talk Explores the Food Safety Zone

March 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Food Safety Talk

Description: AFFI is raising the bar on our strategic priority to advance food safety. One exciting way AFFI is raising the bar on food safety is through AFFI’s Food Safety Zone, which is a one-stop food safety resource developed by AFFI’s food safety working group. Food Safety Talk is a podcast hosted by Dr. Don Schaffner and Dr. Ben Chapman where they discuss food safety. We are excited to have Don and Ben explore the AFFI Food Safety Zone on this episode of Food Safety Talk.

Time: 1 hour

Audience: AFFI members, food safety experts, sanitors, QA, etc.

Key Learning Objectives: The Listeria Control Program (LCP) represents seven core areas of hygienic design, sanitation controls, environmental monitoring, process validation, hygienic zoning, freezer management and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Attendees will learn to navigate AFFI’s online Food Safety Zone and how to avail this unique program.
