EMERGING NEW LISTERIA SPECIES
Researchers have discovered five novel Listeria species by examining the prevalence of bacteria in agricultural soil throughout North America.
The discovery, researchers said, could help food facilities identify potential growth niches that until now, may have been overlooked – which can improve food safety investigations. Tune into this webinar to learn from the primary researcher, Catharine Carlin, Merieux NutriSciences Technical Director and hear from Lory Reveil, American Frozen Food Institute’s Director of Scientific and Regulatory Affairs on what this could mean for the industry.
