AFFI Welcomes Mérieux NutriSciences as Newest Advantage Partner

McLean, VA – The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) recently welcomed Mérieux NutriSciences as an AFFI Advantage Partner. The AFFI Advantage Partner Program is designed to supplement the marketing efforts of participating associate members of the Institute by providing them with increased exposure and access to frozen food and beverage companies with whom they wish to forge new, or expand already existing, business relationships.

“We are pleased to welcome Mérieux NutriSciences as the newest participant in the AFFI Advantage Partner Program,” said AFFI President and CEO Alison Bodor.

“With over 50 years of experience in food safety and quality, we look forward to working with Mérieux NutriSciences to advance food safety through a uniform approach toward quality.”

Mérieux NutriSciences is dedicated to improving food safety and quality through nutritional research, scientific excellence and innovation throughout the food supply chain.  In addition, Mérieux NutriSciences works with clients to promote public health through analysis, consulting, auditing, training, contract research and sensory analysis services.  The food safety and quality analyses are performed by an international network of accredited laboratories.

“Our partnership with AFFI and its members will enhance the value and visibility of Mérieux NutriSciences,” said Mérieux NutriSciences Director of Marketing Communications Susan Rubin.  “Safety and quality testing is at the very heart of our expertise as a leading partner to the global food industry.  As a benefit to AFFI members, we will offer a five percent discount on any routine food testing and GFSI certification services.”

All associate members currently in good standing with AFFI are eligible to apply for participation in the AFFI Advantage Partner Program.
