The Power of Frozen in Foodservice
Commissioned by the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and conducted by Technomic Inc., the second annual Power of Frozen in Foodservice research examines operator attitudes and practices regarding the selection and usage of frozen foods and beverages in the foodservice industry overall as well as within key segments of the marketplace. Technomic issued qualitative and quantitative surveys among more than 350 operators from across 10 segments to understand operator viewpoints and preferences for frozen foods and product applications. The report also assesses the role frozen foods play in mitigating the impact of macro trends facing operators, including labor shortages, supply chain and costs.
