The Business of Frozen is Changing

By: Alison Bodor, AFFI President and CEO

This has been an unprecedented year for everyone and I’m proud of the resilience demonstrated by the frozen food industry to keep workers safe, facilities operational and consumers fed. When the pandemic struck, our industry immediately pivoted to adjust business models to meet increased demand that will forever change the future trajectory of the frozen food industry.

There’s no doubt the business of frozen is changing and AFFI understands that coming together with your colleagues and sharing key market insights is critical to mapping out your business plans for the year. That’s why I hope you’ve made plans to join us for AFFI-CON 2021. We already have over 150 companies committed to attend and with our investments in the right technology, all attendees will have the tools they need to do more business at the show than ever before.

While we might not be able to gather in-person, a virtual AFFI-CON is still THE place where the business of frozen is done. Here’s why:

  1. Reduced Registration Rates: AFFI members can attend AFFI-CON 2021 for $500 and non-members for $750. With zero travel costs and 8 days to conduct business meetings while gaining new connections, and education sessions focused exclusively on the business of frozen, this is the lowest AFFI-CON price ever.
  2. Meet New Buyers & Suppliers. The technology powering AFFI-CON was built to easily help build your schedule and grow your business with new contacts. Our virtual platform allows attendees to schedule meetings with a click of a button and syncs with your calendar of choice. This year’s schedule also allows for 8 days of meetings versus the usual 4 – doubling the time you have to conduct business.
  3. Gain Industry Insights to Grow Your Business: AFFI is committed to providing frozen food companies with industry insights at AFFI-CON 2021 to help grow your business. AFFI-CON 2021’s Industry Spotlight will feature the launch of our latest Power of Frozen in Retail research focused on maintaining and optimizing current and potential purchasing trends beyond the pandemic. In addition, the AFFI-CON schedule offers focused Lunch & Learn sessions on topics like global trade, food safety, and e-commerce.

I hope you’ll make plans to join us for AFFI-CON 2021!
